About
"What I've always cared about in management is helping people and organizations see what they're actually capable of."
I'm a healthcare operations professional based in Wenatchee, Washington. I came here deliberately, drawn by the mountains, the trails, and a landscape that demands you pay attention. That same instinct for getting out of the noise and into what matters carries into my work.
My background spans UW Medicine and ambulatory care in Central Washington, across multispecialty practice management, dentistry, and primary care. That breadth wasn't accidental. I've always been more interested in how healthcare organizations function than in staying in one lane.
In recent years, that's extended into AI implementation: getting clinical AI tools like DAX ambient documentation and Epic's AI-assisted InBasket into the hands of providers who were skeptical, and watching the resistance give way as the workflow benefits became real. That experience is one of the things I'm most proud of.
Icicle Ridge Advisors exists because helping others succeed (an organization untangling an operational problem, a professional landing their next role) is the work I'd choose anyway.
Outside of work, I'm usually on a trail with a camera. The Cascades are an inexhaustible subject.
Philosophy
Healthcare organizations don't need more frameworks. They need someone who has sat in the chair, navigated the politics, managed the providers, and figured out what actually works in a clinical environment under real operational pressure. That's what I bring.
For individuals, the same principle applies. Career coaching that comes from understanding how healthcare hiring actually works (what managers look for, how resumes get read, what separates candidates in an interview) is worth more than generic advice from someone who has never worked in the field.
